12-color starter set

This set is designed for children's practical drawing. It consists of Goethe's six basic colors and six additional colors that children need most.

With Goethe’s six colors, children can learn to mix almost all other colors on their own. The supplementary colors selected are those shades without which drawing becomes frustrating: pink for skin and flowers, sky blue for the sky and water, chestnut brown for trees and animals, black for outlines, gray for shadows, and white for snow and highlights.

Every color has been carefully considered—nothing unnecessary is included, and nothing essential is missing.

Suitable for ages 3–8. A natural follow-up set is the COA 24-color set.
